Backstory

TL; DR: I’m Sarah. This is my resume and this is my LinkedIn profile, where you can message me. I’m based in Washington, D.C.

And now, some facts about me.

I probably watch too much TV and too many movies.

This makes it impossible for me to answer the question “What’s your favorite movie/TV show?’ It’s okay if you hate the stuff that I like (and vice versa), I still want to talk to you about it, and the conversation will probably be pretty fun. I happily accept all recommendations.

I’m not a good gardener.

I had a real garden plot for a while. I moved on to LEGO plants instead, for reasons that are clear below.

I like sports.

Sometimes it’s just fun to shout at the TV with your friends and family.

But also…

It’s just fun to learn about and talk about all the sports (and ‘sports’) that are out there. Just like movies and TV, I will happily talk to you about the sports you like – football, gymnastics, chess, golf, e-sports, that crazy thing where they roll cheese down a hill and chase after it? Tell me about it! Sports are complex and weird and very human.
