Training Site Development, Zingerman’s Ann Arbor

I worked with a team to develop a training management website based in Drupal for Zingerman’s Ann Arbor.

In September 2012, the popular chain was using a paper ‘passport’ system to track the training classes that employees took to move up the ranks to management, or simply learn more about the restaurant business.

In December 2012, we completed a Drupal site that allowed employees to:

  • Track courses they had completed
  • View class prerequisites
  • Allow managers to approve course completion electronically
  • View a complete linked course catalog online for the first time, including course ‘tracks’

The site allowed the company to discard its paper system (while still applying its own unique branding) and provide unique logins to each employee.
